RANKIFUL / EDITORIAL FIELD NOTE
What we found in our own guides.
On October 28, 2026, we reviewed the pre-revision learning library and found that our articles were shorter and more uniform than their topics deserved.
Scope and method
We counted the text in the section bodies of all 15 guides stored in the site’s source files. We split the text at whitespace; headings, metadata, and source labels were excluded. This is a simple reproducible editorial count, not a linguistic word-count standard or a measure of content quality.
The original section bodies ranged from 437 to 529 words, averaging 468.1 words. Fourteen of the 15 guides had five sections; one had six. These counts describe the pre-revision copy, not the revised pages now on the site. We captured the public learning-library page on the same date.

What the data can and cannot show
The narrow range and repeated section count show a uniform editorial pattern. They do not demonstrate rankings, citations, traffic, conversion, expertise, or whether a reader found a guide helpful. We did not run a customer study or an AI visibility experiment for this baseline.
For the revision we added topic-specific exercises, decision checks, worked arithmetic, and clearly labeled hypothetical examples. For guidance on interpreting observations, see how to measure AI visibility.
